Ana Montañez

Ana D. Montañez is a Philadelphia-based chef, educator, and founder of Chef Ana's Kitchen, a culinary initiative rooted in Puerto Rican tradition, food education, and cultural storytelling. With over a decade of experience, she spent eight years teaching culinary arts at Edison High School and currently works with Wellness in the Schools, leading cooking and nutrition education in Camden, NJ, and traveling nationally to train school kitchen staff in scratch cooking.
Ana operates regular pop-ups at Porcos, Breezy's Deli, and Pentridge Station, where she shares authentic Puerto Rican dishes with the Philadelphia community. Through her work, Ana is committed to food justice, preserving Boricua Foodways and mentoring the next generation of culinary leaders.
