Then, savor the flavors of Puerto Rico’s festive table with pasteles - a cherished dish made from root vegetable dough filled with savory meat, wrapped in banana leaves, and served with arroz con gandules and pernil. These dishes tell stories of ancestry, resilience, and joy -  and embody the true flavor of community.
