In 2015, after 13 years of cooking professionally in hotels, restaurants, yachts and in homes, Jennifer officially launched her first pet food business called Piggyback Treats Company. She created Piggyback Treats to reduce food waste in small farms and local businesses, rescuing usable foods, which would go to waste otherwise and making them into healthy treats for dogs and cats.

In 2024, Jennifer opened my first retail store in Philadelphia's Northern Liberties neighborhood, called Farm N' Sea Pets. At the store, she sells Piggyback products and also a line of her own raw blends for dogs and cats, as well as making the individual components of a healthy bowl available.

Jennifer also teaches pet parents how to build a better bowl themselves, in their own homes. Working with many of the same farms she uses for Piggyback Treats, she is able to provide pet parents with quality pastured, grass fed, organically raised and wild caught proteins. In addition to teaching classes, she hosts raw tastings for pets, and will soon be offering in-home knife skills lessons for those who are feeding their pets a raw diet.
