Jennifer Gallagher
General Manager | Acorn Club
Jennifer was born and raised in Philadelphia and attended Bucknell University where she studied Sociology and Spanish and was a member of the lacrosse team. It was less than a year after graduation when Jennifer realized that her true calling took her back to her roots and her summer jobs working at a Yacht Club on the Jersey Shore.
Her professional hospitality career began at the Union League of Philadelphia. Her 14 years at the League taught her a lifetime of lessons. While her main tenure was in Private Events, as a coordinator and then Director, she had the opportunity to gain many additional skills including working through renovations, assisting in the design of ballrooms and demonstration kitchens, and managing the club’s fitness center.
While Jennifer enjoyed her time at the Union League, when the opportunity arose for her to manage her own club, it could not be missed! For the past seven years, Jennifer has been the General Manager at the Acorn Club; the oldest women’s club of its kind. At the Acorn Club Jennifer has overseen renovations and increased member usage.
