Michele Gargiulo
Sommelier
Michele is a Philadelphia-based sommelier, author, and creative entrepreneur. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she began her career at Savona before joining Barclay Prime and later Jean-Georges at the Four Seasons Philadelphia. During this time, she also represented Angel’s Envy as a Whiskey Guardian, leading tastings and whiskey education events across the region.
Today, Michele balances her hospitality roots with her writing and digital ventures, including her science and sustainability-driven blog MicheleGargiulo.com and her Pairing Paws book series. She is a Certified Sommelier, Certified Specialist of Wine, Certified Sake Advisor, Executive Bourbon Steward, and a WSET Diploma student.
