Teresa Palzkill
Retired Educator
Teresa started her career as a Home Economist/Educator as a products demonstrator for emerging companies Cuisinart and Coffee Imports International, showing consumers how to prepare high quality meals and espresso drinks at home. She recalls having to cajole folks to try their first cappuccino.
From these beginnings, Teresa taught cooking techniques throughout Southern California at independent culinary stores and more broadly with May Department stores as part of the company's Cooking School.
After spending 10 years working full and part-time in “industry”, she focused on teaching at the secondary level. Her career as a public-school educator included teaching Home Economics, serving as High School Assistant Principal, and overseeing the Adult Community Education program at Poway Unified School District.
